Oh, I've forgotten how long I've been working on this! I would work on it for a few hours, then not come back to it for a few day...but now, AT LAST it's completed! <3

I love this work it is beautifully executed, your skills are to die for. The framing composition is so interesting, intimate, was it yours or in the original photo, the pencil work the blending brilliant... an impressive acheivement... I love this...

my comment above was particularly offered as an outside suggestion for your friend I hope I haven't offended... I'm a learner too and the more a draw to more comfortable I'm getting with making something beautiful for itself rather than judging my acheive by whether it looks like the model I've used and as I relax my pictures are getting better and more satisfying... I still would like to get to what you can do but I'm learning to trust my eye more and more as i go...
